Ingredients

  • Hung curd – 1 cup
  • Chana powder, roasted – 2-3 tbsp
  • Makhana (foxnut) flour – 2-3 tbsp
  • Cornflour – 2 tbsp
  • Oil or ghee – 2-3 tbsp
  • Green coriander, chopped – 2 tbsp
  • Ginger paste – ½ tsp
  • Green chilli, chopped – 1
  • Black pepper powder – ¼ tsp
  • Salt – ¼ tsp

Instructions

  • Take hung curd in a bowl, add roasted chana powder, makhana flour, green coriander, green chilli, black pepper, ginger and salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients well. The mixture for making kebab is ready.
  • Powder your palms with cornflour and place 1 tbsp of mixture on one palm. Roll palms together to form a round shape to the mixture and flatten it to form a kebab.
  • Coat the kebab with cornflour and place it in a plate. Prepare all the kebabs similarly.
  • Heat frying pan. Add oil. When oil gets hot, put kebabs in pan for shallow frying.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and turn kebab over when it gets golden brown on one side.
  • Transfer kebabs to plate when the other side turns golden brown.
  • Garnish with green coriander and serve with mint chutney.
